Free electronics recycling starts up in Oregon

Heads up If you're getting rid of junk today: This is the first weekend that you can recycle your old televisions, computers and computer monitors for free in Oregon.
You can recycle up to seven items at a time for no charge. The state's program, which began Jan. 1, does not provide free recycling of keyboards, mice, speakers, printers, scanners or other types of electronics or appliances. But many recyclers will accept those items as well, often for a fee.
