Is Portland Going to be the New Detroit?
I read this article in the Oregonian today about Governor K's trip to China. It is reminiscent of everything we talked about regarding the Smart Grid & the New Economy at the last Clean Tech event.
Set against the backdrop of the Big 3 going to DC this last week to beg Congress for $25 billion, it seems especially poignant that little Oregon has a chance to position itself as the production location for the new car economy.
