No. Like others, a lot of ideas but no company (and financial backing) to begin to pursue. It seems though that a truly integrated smart grid would need to encompass a very large list of contributors from energy suppliers all the way down to appliance manufacturers and 3rd party application engineers. Standards still seem to be a large stumbling block. One needs only to look at the lack of "Smart Home" standards to see how hard this has been and will continue to be. x10? insteon? z-wave? I think the industry would benefit from gov't mandated standard setting. Not that the gov't has to mandate the standard, but rather mandate that the standard must be worked out by the private sector company's and approved by gov't by x date.
